Blytheville High School is seeking applicants for the position of ALE paraprofessional. Preference will be given to applicants with the following experience:
1. Using various types of communication to reach out to students and parents to address questions, problem solving, or general concerns.
2. Exhibits the ability to remain polite and calm when dealing with students, staff, parents, and the general public.
3. Exemplifies professionalism by maintaining composure when dealing with intensive and stressful situations.
4. Possesses the ability to multi-task effectively in highly intense, stressful settings.
5. Maintains records of students ranging from interventions, absences, FINS Petitions, discipline, grades, and other records as needed to evaluate the effectiveness of student goals and achievements.
6. Demonstrates proficiency in writing, communication, organization using technology and various programs such as Microsoft Suites.
7. Must be self-motivated and self-directing, with attention to fine details
Applicants must possess one of the following three criteria:
An earned associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Have at least 60+ earned college credit hours from an accredited college or university.
Have passed the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment exam.
