Summer School Coordinator Summary

Previous administrative or lead teacher experience preferred.

 

We are seeking Summer School Coordinator to lead summer school teachers. In this position, you will primarily work with teachers who are assisting students that have fallen behind in their academic level. You must also ensure that your teachers are actively engaged throughout the length of class. Our ideal applicant has prior experience working with teachers in a similar position. You must also have at least a bachelor's degree in your field and a valid teaching license.

 

Summer School Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Develop daily plans
• Assist teachers in developing lessons for students
• Oversees teachers in their roles
• Oversee overall student progress
• Provide extra help to assist teachers in delivering lessons
• Oversee and assist with technology used in Summer School

Summer School Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications

 

• Administrative or Lead teacher experience preferred.
• At least a bachelor's degree in your field
• Valid Arkansas teaching license
• Teaching experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work on an accelerated schedule
